- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 Tbsp dried oregano
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried rosemary optional
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme optional
- 1/2 tsp dried marjoram optional
- 1/2 tsp dried tarragon optional
Measure all dried spices into a bowl. Stir until mixed.
If using rosemary or thyme, pulse in a spice grinder for a finer texture.
Transfer the mix to an airtight jar. Label with date. Store in a cool, dark place up to 6 months.
Use 1–2 Tbsp of this blend per pound of meat, or 1–2 tsp per 1–2 cups of salad dressing.
Grinding optional herbs gives a smoother texture and prevents big bits.
