1/2 cup sugar

2 Tbs paprika

1 Tbs salt

2 Tbs garlic powder

1 Tbs onion powder

1 tsp mustard powder

1/4 tsp ground cayenne pepper

Mix all of the spices together in a bowl or a wide mouth jar. For finer powder, run the mixture through a coffee grinder. Mix it all really well. Next, sprinkle it on all your favorite dishes. This seasoning blend would be delicious of anything that’s fried!

Yes! Of course. This homemade bbq seasoning blend is great on chicken, French fries, sub sandwiches and more. Just make some up ahead of time and sprinkle it on everything.

Just sprinkle it on while they’re fresh and hot from the oil. The excess oil will help it stick and the cooling process will allow the food to absorb the seasoning.

I would imagine you can use a 1:1 ratio sugar substitute if you want. Stevia would be good, I think. But definitely don’t remove the sugar. That’s the base for the flavor and it won’t be right.
